PRIVATE HATHA YOGA PRACTICE

Tailored to the individual's needs.  Can include asana, vinyasa, yin yoga poses, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, or focus on one aspect exclusively.
70 minutes.  From $120/session.  3 person maximum.  Recommended to bring your own mat.  Senior discounts may apply.

PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING
A personalized exercise routine emphasizing endurance, flexibility, range of motion and abdominal strength.  Incorporates the use of weights and repetitions and teaches how to utilize our own body weight as a form of resistance.  Can include a cardiovascular activity such as walking or light jogging.
70 minutes.   From $120/session.  2 person maximum.  Senior discounts may apply.

TEEN YOGA - GROUP INSTRUCTION
Includes an introduction to vinyasa and linking movement to breath as a form of yoga practice.  Instruction to safe alignment.  Practices in stillness, focus, and breath awareness.  Music inspired.
60 minutes.   From $60/class.  5 student minimum.  Students bring their own mats.  Rates may vary based on venue.

ADULT  YOGA - GROUP INSTRUCTION
May include vinyasa as a form of yoga practice to link standing poses.  Introduces sun salutations, backbends and twists.  May include balance poses and inversions.  Modifications offered as needed.  Includes a short meditation and a call to awareness of self and habits as tools for relaxation and maintained well-being.  Challenge of class dependent on overall level of students.  Music inspired.  Students bring their own mats, blankets, blocks. Rates may vary based on venue.
60 minutes.   From $75/class.  5 person minimum.

SENIOR GROUP YOGA INSTRUCTION/CHAIR YOGA
Focus on maintaining ranges of motion, balance, and core strength.  Can be taught from the floor or with the use of a chair.  Additional focus placed on breath awareness and meditation as a means for cultivating peace and comfort with an acceptance of this stage of life.  May include discussion and instruction on how to get down and up from the floor.  Optional use of light weights for strengthening upper body.  Modifications offered within the movements.
45 minutes.  From $50.  5 student minimum.  For seniors 60 plus.

Y-I-N YOGA
Yoga in nature with longer hold postures (yin yoga).  Yin yoga emphasizes stretching and targets the connective tissues of the hips, spine and pelvis.  Poses are usually timed and held for five to seven minutes.  The long holds foster patience and a meditative quality as they facilitate deeper openings in the body.  The inclusion of the outdoors creates a deeper connection with the environment and a mini retreat feel.  Practiced at the beach or park.  Can include music or inspirational readings while holding the poses.  Refreshments offered.  Students bring their own mats, towels, and blankets.
90 minutes.  $200/class.  4 student maximum.
 
YIN YOGA
90 minute indoor class $150.  4 student maximum.

MEDITATION PRACTICE
When we take the time to quiet ourselves we develop awareness, patience,  and insight into our minds and heart.  Meditation is an opportunity to tune in and connect without interference, quieting the fluctuations of the mind.  We learn how not to succumb to distractions, fine-tuning the art of concentration.  Our meditation practice teaches us skills which help us take pause in the midst of daily activity.  Meditation teaches us mindfulness, presence, sensitivity, acceptance, detachment and allows us to reach into the vast corners of mind for the truth of the matter, seeing things as they really are.  Meditation refreshes the soul.  Practice can be guided or silent.
45 minutes.   $50/session.  $70/session for groups of 5 or more.  Limit 10 people.    Students bring their own cushions.

YOGA OUTREACH:

CORPORATE YOGA
Bringing yoga and meditation to the workplace provides employers and employees skills with which to handle everyday challenges.  Employers send a message that they have a vested interest in their employees health and well-being.  A 'yoga break' can return increased productivity, higher morale and job satisfaction, a decrease in malaise and malady, reduction of stress and depression, and an opportunity for co-workers to socialize.  Yoga in the workplace provides a healthy respite within the day.  Can be individual or group practice.  Can include music.  Includes chai and snack before work resumes.  Mats provided.
55-65 minutes.   Corporate rate of $108/session with a 10 session package.  Based on 1-2 sessions per week.

PRISON YOGA
Yoga and meditation in the prison system provides inmates with powerful tools to manage their rehabilitation and confinement.  When the light at the end of the tunnel seems non-existent yoga and meditation can provide self comfort, faith, hope and a framework within which to practice self inquiry, svadhyaya. The wisdom inherent in the yoga sutras and limbs of yoga provide a roadmap for a more satisfying and fulfilling way of life which includes acceptance, non-violence, ahimsa, forgiveness, and self control.
